Distributed Computing Podcast
Almost every aspect of our lives is influenced by distributed systems: large-scale networks such as the Internet as well as multiprocessor systems (multi-core PCs and high-performance computers) are omnipresent. The efficient operation of such systems requires distributed computing. This series of podcasts discusses research results focusing on the fundamental issues underlying the design of distributed systems and networks: communication, coordination, fault-tolerance, parallelism and self-organization.
